HaiLive Privacy Policy

HaiLive is a music and karaoke player app for events, by Hai Digital. This policy explains what data is collected, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how you can access, correct or delete it.

Data we collect

• Phone number: for secure sign-in via a one-time WhatsApp code and to identify the device licence.
• Purchase details: when you buy a subscription on our website we collect your name, email and phone for billing, the receipt and licence activation. Card details are entered directly on the payment provider's secure page and are never stored by us.
• Event participant data: guests and singers who join an event with a code may provide a name or nickname, song requests, ratings and comments, shown to the event host and on the audience screen according to the event settings.
• Usage and diagnostics: actions in the app (playback, search, extraction) and error reports including device type, app version and browser details, used to improve the service and provide support. The IP address is used for abuse protection and coarse region detection.
• Device and licence identifiers: to manage device permissions and subscription.

How we use it

• To enable sign-in and manage the licence and subscription.
• To run the player, playlists, karaoke and event features.
• To charge, issue a receipt and activate a licence after a purchase.
• To improve stability and performance, diagnose faults and provide support.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. Data goes only to providers required to operate the service, to the extent needed: the WhatsApp delivery provider for the sign-in code; the payment provider for billing and receipts (name, email and amount); external content sources such as YouTube whose own terms and privacy policies apply to the content they play; and authorities where required by law.

Retention

• Account and usage data is kept while the account is active and deleted on request within 30 days.
• Event participant data (names, requests, ratings, comments) belongs to the event and is removed in periodic cleanup after the event ends.
• Billing records and invoices are kept as required by law, for up to 7 years.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data is stored server-side and protected by standard measures. The sign-in code is one-time and time-limited.

Your rights

You may request access to your stored data, its correction, or full deletion of your account and data. See Delete your account and data. Requests are handled within 30 days at most.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
